Outcome Memories Recreation Mighty Guide
Mighty is Recreation’s argument that the original roster was missing a bodyguard. Play him for other people or do not play him.
Creator notes from remodel footage are consistent: three verbs. Protect stuns the executioner if they hit the teammate you covered. Throw sends the EXE on a trip. Wall climb turns void maps into playgrounds. That is enough to put him at the top of the survivor tier list if — and only if — you look at allies.
Protect
This is not a self-shield you pop because you are nervous. Face the teammate who is about to eat an M1. If the killer hits them, the killer is stunned. That single interaction wins more rounds than Sonic’s entire dodge meter in eight-player lobbies. Practise it on Green Hill where you can see the commit coming. Then take it to Not Perfect V2 where the commit is also a void threat.
TikiSneaky’s remodel vod is the kit in a straight line: Protect, Throw, climb. Watch once for animations, then again for when he does not press Protect because nobody is in range. That discipline is the difference between S-tier Mighty and a funnier Knuckles. Knuckles still exists on the survivors page if you want a selfish melee kit.
Throw and climb
Throw is a ring tool, an LMS tool, and a “get this grab character off my medic” tool. Yeeting Kolossos away from a 20 HP ally is how you deny an execute. Yeeting anyone away from the green circle is how you convert the escape. Climb is why Mighty is not trapped by Recreation’s void-heavy layouts. If you cannot find a wall, you are playing him like Eggman; stop.
When to pick someone else
If the lobby already has peel and nobody has intel, pick Tails. If the executioner is a laser hallway monster and you cannot approach, pick a glider. If you are going to hide until LMS, pick Sonic — Mighty without a team is a throw (the bad kind). Counter-play for the monster you are bodyguarding against lives in beat executioners and the LMS guide.
Map jobs for the armadillo
On Green Hill Protect is readable. You can see the commit. Throw is for the ring or for Rage, not for the first M1 you see on the beach. On Not Perfect V2 climb is a win condition and Throw is a void tax you levy on Kolossos. On Mystic Cave door Protect is the entire character. If you do not know the layout, the maps hub is faster than another remodel clip.
Public availability still shifts after restarts. Recreation leaked Mighty into public talk long before every lobby could vote him. Check the board. If he is locked, pick Knuckles for a selfish melee kit or Tails for intel — both are on the survivors page. If you only logged in hoping a code would unlock him, there is still no redeem box. Farm the round. Mighty is a job, not a coupon.
Mobile Mighty is a different sport. Protect and Throw sit on the same thumb cluster as emote. Move the buttons using mobile controls or you will honk B in a chase and donate LMS. PC players should put Protect on a key they can hit while camera-flicking — details on PC binds. Then take the matchup tool into the next queue so “Protect the burst target” is a sentence you have already read.
Frequently asked questions
Straight answers for the searches that actually land here.
How do I climb walls as Mighty?
Use the climb ability on vertical surfaces. It is a kit verb, not a hidden parkour glitch.
Does Protect work on me?
Protect is for allies. If you want to survive your own hits, you wanted Sonic’s dodge.
Is the remodel mandatory to learn?
Yes. Animations and timing changed; old muscle memory will whiff Throw.
Who does Mighty counter hardest?
Grab and M1-committed killers: Kolossos, greedy 2011X, Omega-style burst.
